WordPress User Roles

In WordPress, there are different user roles that give users different permissions to manage content and features on the site. The most common roles are:

  • Administrator: Full control of the website, including settings and user management.
  • Editor: Manages all content on the site.
  • Authors: Creates and publishes own posts.
  • Contributors: Creates posts but cannot publish them.
  • Subscriber: Only have access to read and comment.

By default, we provide our customers Editor role because we are responsible for the functionality, security and performance of the website. If you need administrator privileges, please contact us and we can discuss how this works within the agreement.
